WUSSOW

Project Overview

Designed for the true audio enthusiast, the Wussow Record Cabinet blends craftsmanship, engineering, and nostalgia into a single heirloom piece. Handcrafted from a refined palette of ash, walnut, and brass, this cabinet provides a dedicated home for vintage audio equipment, a record player, and an ever-growing vinyl collection.

At the heart of its design is a uniquely engineered equipment cabinet with multiple adjustable shelves, built to accommodate classic components that often run warm. The custom, one-of-a-kind door features a sculptural pattern of intersecting perpendicular grooves carved into both the front and back surfaces. More than decorative, this pattern creates discreet airflow channels that allow heat to dissipate naturally—keeping the equipment protected without compromising aesthetics.

The Wussow Cabinet offers thoughtful storage throughout, including two drawers for accessories and two cove-front deep drawers for vinyl records, each operating smoothly with slow close undermount hardware. The front is accented with bespoke brass-and-walnut pulls, adding a touch of luxury that complements the rich wood tones.

Structural integrity comes from time-honored woodworking techniques—mortise-and-tenon and bridle joints—and the entire piece is grounded on a sturdy base with elegantly curved feet, balancing visual lightness with unmistakable stability.

A celebration of tactile materials and analog listening, the Wussow Record Cabinet is both a functional workstation for your audio setup and a piece of fine furniture destined to be enjoyed for generations.
